MEET A MARSH TACKY HISTORY TOUR

Get up close and personal with our critically endangered SC State Heritage Horses – the Marsh Tacky. Attendees will learn about what makes these horses special and why they are so significant to South Carolina history, heritage and culture. Then, see a Marsh Tacky in motion! Last but not least, pose for a photo with one of the rarest breeds of horse in the world.

30 MINUTE TOURS START AT

11:30am & 4:00pm

Adults – $15.00/ea • Kids 16 & under – $7.50/ea

Please join us at our barn directly across from Freeport Marina a few minutes prior to tour time. No reservations needed. Rain or Shine! We are a 501c3 charitable organizaton whose mission is to save the Marsh Tacky on Daufuskie. 100% of proceeds from this program goes to covering costs for routine horse care (grain, hay, vet, farrier, grooming supplies, etc).
