    Our Horses

Flaca is a 2013 model, boasting the finest pedigree, which is what you would expect coming from Jeanette Beranger’s farm in North Carolina. On staff with the American Livestock Conservancy, Jeanette’s many contributions to the breed includes she is whom conducted the vast amount of field work pulling DNA samples for creating the Marsh Tacky stud book and registry, which the ALC maintains. Registered name Soleil, this striking beauty is out of Carolina Moon (Cowboy and Beebop) and off of David Grant’s stud DP, who is arguably the most famous and accomplished Marsh Tacky stud out there today. She possesses the sought after physical breed characteristics including her grullo color, thick mane and tail, very little white, dorsal and zebra stripes.

THESE HORSES ARE ABOUT MORE THAN MEETS THE EYE. THE HISTORY HERITAGE AND LEGACY THEY REPRESENT BELONGS TO ALL OF US AND IT SHOULD BE CELEBRATED BY EVERYONE!
