Flaca is a 2013 model. Registered name Soleil, this striking beauty is out of Carolina Moon (Cowboy and Beebop) and off of David Grant’s stud DP. She possesses the sought after physical breed characteristics including her overall confirmation, grulla color, thick mane and tail, very little white, dorsal and zebra stripes. After going through fundamental training with Brock and Leisha Griffith as a 4 year old, she has participated full time in our trail ride program since and has settled in really nicely. She is the proud mother of the third and fourth Marsh Tacky foals to be born on Daufuskie in decades, a filly we named Clover because she was born on St. Patrick’s Day in 2021 and Fuego, the red headed colt born 8/23/23.
