LOWCOUNTRY FAIR WITH HISTORICAL FLAIR

LOWCOUNTRY FAIR WITH HISTORICAL FLAIR FEATURING MARSH TACKY HORSES

We attended the Lowcountry Fair with Historical Flair featuring Marsh Tacky demonstrations and races at Cotton Hall Plantation organized by the Santa Elena Foundation. The weather turned out to be gorgeous and it was a family fun day with food vendors, live music, historical reenactments, artisans, a petting zoo and more. Marsh Tacky riders turned out to participate in an obstacle course (obstacles provided by Palmetto Bluff) and the fair’s main event, races on the grass. Congrats to Miranda Rawson and her horse Firefly who won by a few lengths!
